Established in 2013, Todi & Boys Ltd. is a premium business that specialises in bespoke window and door joinery.
We had the pleasure of catching up with Todi & Boys for a Q&A and here's what they had to say...
Q: What’s been your favourite project where you’ve used From The Anvil products so far, and why?
It’s hard to choose just one, but if I had to, it would be a project in the Cotswolds which we worked on with a close architect friend. The property itself was absolutely breathtaking—one of the most stunning we’ve had the pleasure to work on. From The Anvil products were the perfect finishing touch, elevating the space and giving it a timeless, bespoke quality. It was a true collaboration, and seeing those beautiful pieces come together in such a remarkable setting was a highlight for us.

Q: At what stage in a project do you advise your clients consider ironmongery?
A: We like to take a proactive approach when it comes to ironmongery. Our aim is to offer clients a comprehensive selection of options, allowing them ample time to find the perfect pieces for their project. For us, the ideal moment to introduce ironmongery is during the quoting stage, giving our clients plenty of time to explore different finishes, styles, and functionality. It’s all about making sure every detail is just right from the start.
Q: How long have you been using From The Anvil products?
A: We’ve been using From The Anvil products for about 4 to 5 years now, and honestly, we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Their craftsmanship is second to none, and we know we’ll continue to rely on their exceptional range for many years to come.
Q: Why do you choose From The Anvil?
A: From The Anvil is a brand we trust wholeheartedly. The quality of their products is consistently outstanding, and there’s an impressive range of finishes that can suit any style, from classic to contemporary. On top of that, their customer service is always top-notch—responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in getting the details just right. It’s a combination that’s hard to beat.
Q: What is your favourite From The Anvil finish, and why?
A:I’m particularly fond of the black finish—it’s sleek, modern, and versatile, adding a sophisticated edge to any project. Whether it’s for a contemporary home or a more industrial look, it always adds that perfect balance of style and functionality. It’s bold, yet refined, and complements a variety of design schemes effortlessly.

Q: What do you find most rewarding about being a bespoke joiner?
A: The most rewarding part of being a bespoke joiner is when clients tell us that people walk past their house and ask, “Where did you get those windows from?” It’s such a gratifying feeling knowing that our work is turning heads and sparking conversation. Another highlight is the opportunity to recreate something truly one-of-a-kind—especially when we can craft something that no one else in London can replicate. There’s something incredibly satisfying about pushing the boundaries of design and craftsmanship to create pieces that are both functional and completely unique.
Q: What is one piece of advice you would give customers who are considering replacing their doors and windows?
A: My top piece of advice would be to choose joineries that manufacture their doors and windows right here in Britain. While European imports might be cheaper, they often lack the slim profiles, attention to detail, and the distinctive character that British-made windows and doors offer. Choosing local craftsmanship not only ensures a higher level of quality but also allows for a more tailored, bespoke fit that complements the unique aesthetic of your home.
