Please note all prices above exclude VAT. 99% of our parcels are delivered next working day, however our courier terms only guarantee delivery within 48hours, therefore only deliveries exceeding 48 hours can be reported. As long length parcels are manually processed, delivery of these goods often take two days as standard.

 

Terms and Conditions

Payment Terms


Our payment terms are 30 days EOM.

 

Notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk, property in and title to the goods shall remain with Marches Architectural Hardware Limited until we have received payment of the full price of (a) all goods the subject of the contract and (b) all other goods supplied by Marches Architectural Hardware Limited to the buyer under any contract whatsoever.

Payment of the full price shall include, without limitation, the amount of any interest or other sum payable under the terms of this and all other contracts between Marches Architectural Hardware Limited and buyer.

Delivery, Faults & Shortages
Our policy at From the Anvil is to ensure that all goods despatched from our company are supplied correctly, of high quality and free from faults.

Please ensure all goods are checked immediately and that any defects, damage, or other faults are reported to our customer services department within 7 working days of the invoice date. Any delivery discrepancies or shortages must also be reported in writing within a 7-day period. Any claims made outside this period cannot be accepted.

It is imperative that you check each consignment for the correct number of parcels and for any damage. If the delivery note is not marked as being short or damaged, we will be unable to accept liability forthwith. Marking the delivery note as “unchecked” will also not be accepted.

Returns
Returns requests must be arranged with our Customer Services department via email; customerservice@fromtheanvil.co.uk.

Once a request has been made, we will issue a returns note which must be completed and then authorised by us prior to the items being returned, where this returns note must then be included in with the products. We are unable to accept goods that are sent back to us without an authorised returns note included.

Goods returned within two months of their invoice date will be credited with no restocking charge, subject to an authorised returns note. Goods returned between two and six months from their invoice date will incur a minimum restocking charge of 15%, subject to an authorised returns note. Goods cannot be returned after six months of their date of invoice. Bespoke or special-order goods are non-returnable unless they are deemed by us to be defective. All returns must be pre-authorised with a returns note by our customer services team and only goods that are returned in a re-saleable condition will be eligible for credit.

If goods are defective, we will arrange their collection. In all other cases, the buyer is responsible for any return costs (including any applicable shipping costs) where they may use a courier of their own choosing. We ensure that our customers are informed via email of any product design changes or discontinued products.
