Pewter Lighting

As part of our most recent product launch, we unveiled our new Peter lighting range, featuring a few of our signature lighting designs in a brand-new finish.

In this blog, we take a closer look at our Pewter lighting…

How Pewter Lights are Made

Like many of our pendants, these lights are hand spun from solid brass. Each piece is then powder coated with our bespoke Pewter finish before being covered in a black glaze. Our skilled craftsmen then carefully rub this glaze back by hand, ensuring it’s removed from the raised areas but left in the recesses to create a stunning contrast and depth.

The artisanal nature of this technique means that each piece is entirely unique; no two pieces are ever the same.

Pewter Light Designs

This Pewter finish is available across a selection of our most popular lighting designs including four ceiling pendants; Brindley, Harborne, Hockley, and Frankley, as well as our Brindley wall lights.

How to Style Pewter Lights

Pewter is a wonderfully versatile material. With cool undertones and a slight eclectic feel, these lights can bring an artistic edge to an otherwise simple space. Create contrast by pairing bold Pewter lights with muted tones like sage green and beige, highlighting your pendants as a fascinating focal point.

Alternatively, create a truly chic space by leaning into the industrial aesthetic. Choose raw materials like exposed brick or even cement, with large aluminium framed windows and leather accents. A trio of Pewter Hockley ceiling pendants hung in the centre of the room will complete the look, particularly if contrasted with bursts of green foliage around the room.
