Our Burnished Brass products are manufactured from solid brass. They then undergo an accelerated ageing process to create a dark patina before being placed into barrelling machines to create the burnished finish.
Each Burnished Brass product has a unique finish which is protected by a high-quality, clear matt lacquer.
We advise against using harsh chemicals or cleaning products on Burnished Brass as they may affect the lacquer. Burnished Brass products should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth and wiped over with a wax-based furniture polish like our Maintenance Wax (33002).
Regular oiling of all moving parts using our “3-in-1 Oil” (92337) is beneficial to the longevity of your products and is highly recommended during initial installation.
