Polished Marine SS (316) Night-Vent Locking Avon Fastener

The simple avon design is both contemporary and traditional, fitting into all settings. This four sided design is created by hand with a series of hammer blows.

• Designed to fit casement windows and match the avon stays and door handles in the range.
• The handle is night venting and can be locked in the open position as well as the closed position allowing some ventilation.
• Reversible design and includes two keep plates for both left and right handed windows.
• The fastener has a locking mechanism by way of a grub screw.
• Suitable for use with weather-stripped windows.
• Supplied with matching SS wood screws.

Our Polished Marine Stainless Steel is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. These products offer great strength and have extremely resilient corrosion resistant properties which make them an excellent choice for coastal locations. This finish is very versatile, with a high sheen appearance that works well with warm tones and cool, contemporary settings alike. This finish is designed to be maintenance free and offers exceptional protection against corrosion.  Surpassing 1000+ hours salt testing, it is a perfect choice for use in salt rich or heavily polluted environments. Despite the natural durability of this finish, we would still recommend washing your product using a soft, clean cloth and mild soapy water from time-to-time to reduce unnecessary pollutants building up on the products surface.  Please ensure all products are dried immediately with a clean, soft cloth after any cleaning.

To increase the mechanical life expectancy of your product, we recommend oiling of all moving parts using our ‘3-in-1 Oil’ (92337) periodically and during initial installation.
