Expanding our Art Deco collection to include a series of new products to complement our existing collection, including lever handles, thumbturns, and escutcheons.
Each of these products are available in our signature Period finishes, including Polished Brass, Aged Brass, Polished Nickel, Polished Chrome and Aged Bronze, with a number of our existing product range now also available in our brand new Satin Brass finish, which you can read about here!
Design Inspiration
As suggested by the name, this collection is heavily influenced by the Art Deco period. Originating in France, this design movement was popular in Europe during the 1920s and 1930s and represented glamour and luxury.
The art style was characterised by bold, bright colours and prominent geometric shapes. All over the world, people hoped to emulate the look due to its synonymity with wealth and opulence.

We created our collection as an homage to the Art Deco period, taking inspiration from its artistic embellishments. Many of our pieces feature a distinct bevelled edge which adds a dynamic feel to a space.
Our Art Deco slimline lever handles are a prime example, with a striking backplate and delicate handle, emphasised by clean, angular lines.
Styling Art Deco
The distinguishing feature of Art Deco is a sense of luxury, so it’s often accompanied by warm accents. Brass-based hardware is a fantastic choice because it’s durable and exceptionally weighty which instantly alludes to quality.
Art Deco focuses on sleek forms while simultaneously bordering on maximalism. You can create interest in a room by contrasting different shapes, pairing jagged, angular hardware with smooth, curved lighting. This helps soften the space and accentuate its details. This is even more effective when the accents are chosen in a matching finish, like Nickel.

When choosing complementary colours, look for rich tones like deep greens, navy blues, burgundies, and greys, which you can pair with bright and bold details. Art Deco design often makes use of panelled walls or geometric wallpapers which can be counterbalanced using plush materials including velvet and silk.
Aged Bronze is a perfect choice for the Art Deco collection. This finish has rich, deep undertones and a matt appearance which enhances the shape of the products while bringing lavishness to your home.
