Behind the Design: Brompton Collection

An Introduction to the Brompton Suite

The sleek and elegant shape of our Brompton makes it our most contemporary design to date. Our initial launch in 2021 featured the Brompton lever handles which our customers love so much that we’ve now expanded the collection.

Our Brompton suite now includes an extensive and stylish selection of door, window and cabinet furniture, all available in eleven of our most popular finishes, including our Satin and Polished Marine 316 Stainless Steel, alongside our classic Period and Blacksmith finishes.

Behind the Design

Clean lines and industrial styling are at the heart of the Brompton design. The same signature knurling has been applied across the collection, with fine diamond detailing etched on the surface of each product. The inspiration behind this range comes from the British industrial era which celebrates the use of urban materials, with a strong focus on function.

While minimalism has had its influence on this collection, Brompton is a far cry from a simplistic design. The geometric pattern on each product creates an interesting texture which offers both aesthetic and ergonomic value.

Manufacturing Brompton

As with our previous collections, we’ve utilised the same durable materials, quality finishes and traditional manufacturing techniques that we’re renowned for, creating products that will last a lifetime. Our Blacksmiths hand forge each product from a pure metal base, using a traditional anvil to mould them into shape.

Following this, part of the product is rolled with a lathe to give it a dynamic detail and futuristic edge. The surface is then lightly filed and buffed to accentuate its finish.

When used correctly, Brompton will add a touch of sophistication to any space, working best with forward-thinking interiors.
